The Coast of Dubrovnik is a gentle region of olive
groves and vineyards, with an indented shore and lavish
vegetation, picturesque folk costume and the local
dance “linđo”.
 
 
Arrivals and overnights for August 2010.
Throughout the month of August  Tourist Board of Dubrovačko primorje had 6085 arrivals and that is for 33% more than last year, and they have made 43881 overnight stays which is also 33% more than last year.
Evening of Dalmatian songs in Slano





On 28.08.2010. we had Evening of Dalmatian songs in Slano. 10 vocal groups performed in Slano:

27 % more arrivals and 28 % more overnights than the last year in July
Throughout the month of June on the Tourist Board of Dubrovačko primorje had 5002 arrivals and that is for 27% more than last year, and they have made 34,997 overnight stays which is 28% more than last year.
Aid concert of Klapa Cambi Split in Slano
Benefit concert by vocal group  "Cambi Split" was held in front of St. Jeronim church in  Slano. The concert was organized by the Tourist Board of the Dubrovačko primorje. Proceeds from the concert went for the association chronically ill child „Zajedno do zdravlja“ and for the  Association for Down Syndrome DN County.
Adriatic tourist games in Slano 28.07.2010.
Adriatic tourist-games are fun tour, first  time organized in
Slano, this year southernmost point. These are 9.od total of 20 games on the Adriatic coast.
The aim of the games is to encourage and develop and know each other,
convergence and socializing residents of tourist destinations and their
guests during the tourist season.Games are comprised of 7 competitive events in which
participated by six teams of eight players, teams and International mix (tourists
Croatian, Polish Czech Republic)

The History of the Dubrovnik Coast
Supposed remains from the Neolithic period have not yet been found within the municipal boundaries of the Dubrovnik Coast. The possible Neolithic locationof Špilja, to the west of the village of Đonta Doli will probably determine the ancient history of the area.
